Welcome to the Sleep, Rest, and Wellness course with class code: MOOC000303. I am Hening, the course' coordinator. I will be teaching you with Dr. Tuti Nuraini, and Dr. Kuntarti.
In Sleep, Rest, and Wellness course, you will learn about sleep and rest, and their relationship to improving health (wellness). The scope of this MOOC SRW relates to the concepts, functions, benefits, types, processes and techniques of sleep and rest that are used to achieve better quality sleep and for sleep self-management, so that in the end it is hoped that optimal health can be achieved. After completing this course, we hope that you can:
1. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of sleep and rest
2. Identify appropriate sleep and rest techniques for the learner
3. Discuss health-promoting behaviors through effective sleep and rest
Sleep, Rest, and Wellness is non-credit course. The must have in this course is a laptop or mobile phone and the internet. The language of instruction is English. All learning will be conducted online using Idols UI's Learning Management System (LMS). This course is good for all levels of learners. The estimated learning time is about 40 hours per week. There will be 6 sections, 5 learning videos, 4 quizzes, and 1 examination in the LMS. The learning process is carried out interactively with learning media in the form of video (audio visual), as well as a self-paced method that provides flexibility to learners. The learning evaluation is done by quizzes and exams.
