About The Program

To address the growing need for digital literacy among higher education teaching personnel, a specialized capacity-building program is essential. This Microcredential program aims to equip teaching personnel with the digital skills necessary for teaching while navigating the digital landscape effectively, both nationally and internationally.

Utilizing the UNESCO ICHEI Micro-Competency Reference Framework, the program focuses on developing modules centered around digital teaching competencies. These modules, designed collaboratively by eight Indonesian higher education institutions under the coordination of ICE Institute, emphasize intermediate digital competencies that include:

  1. Design & Produce Digital Micro-courses
  2. Organize and Implement Online Collaborative Learning
  3. Evaluate Learning Based on Process Performance
  4. Guide Personalized Learning with Data Insight
  5. Conduct Virtual Space-based Skills Development
  6. Construct Virtual Space to Support Problem-solving

By sharpening these competencies, teaching personnel can adapt to the development of digital technologies and also actively contribute to the creation and innovation of academic products in the digital era. The development of the program's modules and guidelines adheres to the specifications outlined in the Micro-Competency Specification, Relevant Implementation Guides, and Reference Resources from UNESCO-ICHEI.
